Become Part of the International Football 7 Network

The International Football Association (IFA7) welcomes serious proposals from organizations, clubs, competition hosts and commercial partners interested in developing Football 7 through an authorized international structure.

IFA7 provides pathways for national and regional development, official competitions, international participation, event hosting and institutional collaboration.

Every application is subject to due diligence, territorial review, organizational assessment and formal written approval.

Submitting an inquiry does not grant membership, exclusivity, representation rights or permission to use IFA7 intellectual property.

Who Can Apply?

IFA7 accepts inquiries from:

  • National Football 7 associations

  • Regional, provincial or state organizations

  • Established league operators

  • Clubs and teams

  • Potential competition hosts

  • Government and sporting institutions

  • Broadcasters and media organizations

  • Sponsors and commercial partners

  • Qualified development organizations

    National Association Membership

    National membership is intended for organizations capable of developing and administering Football 7 across an authorized country.

    Applicants should be prepared to demonstrate:

    • Legal organizational status

    • Appropriate governance

    • Qualified leadership

    • National development capacity

    • Existing or proposed leagues

    • Club and player participation

    • Financial sustainability

    • Competition-management experience

    • Brand-protection capacity

    • A long-term national strategy

    National authorization is not granted to individuals acting solely in a personal capacity unless IFA7 specifically approves a development arrangement.

    Potential National Responsibilities

    An authorized national member may be required to:

    • Develop Football 7 nationally

    • Register leagues, clubs and participants

    • Organize sanctioned competitions

    • Establish national-team selection processes

    • Develop referees and coaches

    • Submit activity and financial reports

    • Protect IFA7 intellectual property

    • Meet administrative and financial obligations

    • Follow IFA7 statutes, regulations and directives

    • Support international competitions and development

    National membership remains conditional on continuing compliance.

    Regional and Provincial Development

    IFA7 may authorize regional, provincial, state or territorial organizations when appropriate to the country’s structure and development strategy.

    Regional applicants should provide:

    • Proposed territory

    • Existing local organization

    • Number of leagues, clubs or teams

    • Leadership structure

    • Facilities and competition capacity

    • Development plan

    • Relationship with the applicable national structure

    • Financial and administrative capacity

    Regional authorization does not automatically grant national representation or international voting rights.

    League Operators

    Established league operators may apply to organize an authorized Football 7 competition.

    Potential benefits may include:

    • Official IFA7 authorization

    • Access to applicable sporting standards

    • Connection to a national or international pathway

    • Club and player development

    • Qualification opportunities, where approved

    • Brand and promotional support

    • Referee and administrator development

    League authorization is limited to the territory, competition and period established in writing.

    No league may promote international qualification or use IFA7 branding until those rights have been approved.

    Clubs and Teams

    Clubs interested in official IFA7 competitions may submit an expression of interest.

    Potential pathways include:

    • National and regional competitions

    • IFA7 WORLD CLUBS CHAMPIONSHIP™

    • IFA7 INTERNATIONAL CHALLENGE™

    • IFA7 INVITATIONAL™

    • Women’s competitions

    • Youth competitions

    • Veteran and masters competitions

    Club participation does not grant IFA7 membership or territorial representation.

    Acceptance is subject to eligibility, qualification, competition availability and written confirmation.

    National Teams

    Only organizations holding current IFA7 authorization or specific written approval may select, register or present a national team in an official competition.

    National-team inquiries should identify:

    • Country represented

    • Responsible organization

    • Legal and governance structure

    • Authorized representative

    • Selection process

    • Coaching staff

    • Player-development pathway

    • Proposed competition

    • Financial and travel capacity

    Using a national name, flag or uniform does not independently establish authorization to represent a country.

    Host an IFA7 Competition

    IFA7 welcomes proposals from qualified cities, governments, sporting institutions, member associations and event organizations interested in hosting an official competition.

    Potential hosts should be capable of providing:

    • Appropriate stadium and training facilities

    • Accommodation

    • Local transportation

    • Security

    • Medical and emergency services

    • Event administration

    • Governmental or institutional coordination

    • Marketing and communications

    • Broadcast production

    • Sponsorship development

    • Financial guarantees

    • International delegation services

    Submitting a hosting proposal does not grant event rights.

    No applicant may announce itself as an official host until the applicable agreement has been executed and IFA7 has authorized the announcement.

    Sponsorship and Commercial Partnerships

    IFA7 welcomes proposals from organizations interested in supporting Football 7 through:

    • International competition sponsorship

    • National-team partnerships

    • Broadcast presentation

    • Digital-media activation

    • Sports equipment and apparel

    • Technology

    • Travel and hospitality

    • Tourism promotion

    • Health and performance

    • Youth and women’s development

    • Community programs

    All sponsorship, licensing, merchandising, advertising and commercial rights require written authorization.

    A relationship with a member association does not automatically grant international IFA7 rights.

    Broadcast and Media Partnerships

    Broadcasters, production companies and media platforms may inquire about:

    • Live competition rights

    • Digital streaming

    • Highlights

    • News access

    • Documentary production

    • Competition photography

    • Media accreditation

    • Content distribution

    • International promotional partnerships

    Recording, streaming or commercially distributing official IFA7 competition content requires authorization.

    Application Process

    1. Initial Inquiry

    Submit complete information through the official IFA7 application form.

    2. Preliminary Review

    IFA7 reviews the applicant’s territory, organization, proposal and potential alignment with its international structure.

    3. Due Diligence

    Qualified applicants may be required to provide legal, financial, institutional and operational documentation.

    4. Proposal and Conditions

    IFA7 may issue an information package, development proposal, conditional approval or draft agreement.

    5. Formal Agreement

    Authorization requires execution of the applicable written agreement and completion of all stated conditions.

    6. Activation

    Membership or other rights become effective only after IFA7 confirms activation in writing.

    Due-Diligence Requirements

    Applicants may be asked to provide:

    • Legal name and registration documents

    • Incorporation or organizational records

    • Directors and beneficial ownership

    • Government-issued identification

    • Governance structure

    • Financial information

    • Bank or payment information

    • Previous sporting activity

    • Existing leagues, teams and participants

    • References

    • Website and social-media accounts

    • Development plan

    • Proposed budget

    • Governmental or institutional relationships

    • Litigation, disciplinary or conflict disclosures

    IFA7 may reject an application when the information is incomplete, inaccurate or inconsistent with its requirements.

    Membership and Authorization Are Conditional

    IFA7 authorization may be:

    • Full

    • Provisional

    • Conditional

    • Developmental

    • Competition-specific

    • Territory-specific

    • Time-limited

    Authorization may be suspended, terminated or not renewed if an organization fails to satisfy its contractual, administrative, financial or operational obligations.

    Historical activity does not create permanent rights.

    Fees and Financial Requirements

    Applications, affiliations, competition participation and hosting arrangements may involve fees or financial guarantees.

    Applicable amounts depend on:

    • Territory

    • Membership category

    • Competition rights

    • Development scope

    • Commercial value

    • Services provided

    • Event requirements

    • Duration of authorization

    Fees and payment instructions are valid only when issued through an authorized IFA7 channel.

    Applicants should verify payment details before transferring funds.

    Intellectual Property

    Submitting an application does not grant permission to use:

    • IFA7

    • International Football Association

    • Official IFA7 logos

    • Member-association identities

    • IFA7 competition names

    • Regulations or documents

    • Promotional graphics

    • Trophies or event designs

    • Broadcast or audiovisual materials

    Applicants must not create websites, social-media accounts, domains, logos, uniforms or promotional materials using IFA7 intellectual property before receiving written authorization.

    Unauthorized use may result in rejection of the application and further enforcement action.

    No Authority Before Approval

    Applicants may not represent themselves as:

    • An IFA7 member

    • An IFA7 national representative

    • An IFA7 regional representative

    • An official competition host

    • An authorized national-team organizer

    • An IFA7 commercial agent

    • A person authorized to collect payments

    • An IFA7 broadcaster or media partner

    until the applicable authorization has been issued and activated in writing.

    Privacy

    Application information will be used to evaluate the proposal, conduct due diligence and communicate with the applicant.

    Applicants should not submit unnecessary sensitive personal information through the initial form.

    Additional documentation should be transferred only through an approved secure process.
