OFFICIAL NOTICE: TERMINATION OF AFC7 CONTINENTAL AFFILIATION AND AUTHORITY

The International Football Association (IFA7) hereby confirms that the Continental Affiliation Agreement previously governing the relationship between IFA7, Champion Sphere Institute 2023 BCN, S.L., and the African Confederation of 7-A-Side Football (AFC7) has been formally terminated effective August 8, 2026.
Following a formal institutional review and written conciliation process, IFA7 determined that the contractual relationship could no longer continue.
Accordingly, effective immediately:
AFC7 is no longer affiliated with, recognized by, sanctioned by, authorized by, or acting on behalf of the International Football Association (IFA7).
AFC7 does not possess authority to:
- represent or bind IFA7;
- affiliate national organizations on behalf of IFA7;
- collect funds for or on behalf of IFA7;
- grant IFA7 national or continental rights;
- organize or announce IFA7-sanctioned competitions; or
- claim territorial exclusivity on behalf of IFA7 within Africa.
IFA7 recognizes that AFC7 may continue to operate independently under its own legal identity. Any such activities are independent from IFA7 and do not carry IFA7 authorization, affiliation, recognition or sanction.
Development of Football 7 in Africa
IFA7 remains fully committed to the structured and sustainable development of Football 7 throughout Africa.
IFA7 is now proceeding directly with national associations, federations, institutional partners, governments, clubs, organizers and other qualified organizations interested in the official development of Football 7 within their respective countries.
All existing and prospective national organizations seeking IFA7 recognition, affiliation, participation in international competitions or development rights should communicate directly with IFA7.
